Hiring and retaining Disabled Veterans can positively affect your bottom-line. Veterans, in general, possess soft skills sought after by employers no matter their size or industry focus and Disabled Veterans are no different. During this presentation we will identify and dispel some of the myths and stereotypes associated with hiring veterans and more specifically, disabled veterans.
You will learn of local employment resources available to you in an effort to develop a pipeline of talented and dedicated disabled veteran candidates. Various strategies will be presented to augment your current hiring practices as the employment landscape has changed forever and hiring managers require additional tools and information to attract viable candidates to fill their vacancies.
