Kicking off our Workforce Strategies Series is Joe Girard, Senior Business Developer for Wipfli. This program focuses on creative recruitment and retention strategies for today's environment.
A recent survey of Wisconsin businesses found that over 85% of companies in Wisconsin in all sectors are struggling to find workers. It’s a job-hunters market and the old ways of putting up a help wanted banner and advertising on Indeed just aren’t enough any longer. In this session, learn some creative ways to attract workers to your business regardless of your budget. In addition, once you have them in the door how do you keep them from leaving? We will address ways in which businesses are focusing heavily on retention and reveal the true cost of having to replace an employee.

The updates are effective immediately and may help employers address the coordination of staffing and return to work obligations. While vaccination and booster status remains central to employee opportunities for return to work, there is a symmetry occurring that helps to manage the health risk with new data on COVID-19. | | |
