LO_history_day2.jpg

Participants learned about the history of Oshkosh and its early leaders, beginning their day at the Oshkosh Museum followed by a history hunt throughout Oshkosh.  Participation in a visioning and community development exercise facilitated by City of Oshkosh Community Development and Oshkosh Convention, Visitors Bureau and the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce Economic Development provided a perspective of the planning process. The day culminated with a bus tour of the city showcasing the developments that are shaping the community’s future.

LO_reunion2.jpg

The Leadership Oshkosh Annual Reunion brought together 50 alumni and the current class of LO 2022 for an evening of networking and comradery at Fox River Brewing. Leadership Oshkosh (LO) has been a cornerstone leadership program for the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce since the program began in September of 1989. The program boasts 1,110 graduates. Designed to bring together a diverse group of individuals who share a basic interest in and commitment to the Oshkosh community, Leadership Oshkosh benefits both the participant and the community. The knowledge and understanding gained from the training program will prepare individuals for leadership roles in both their organizations and the community. As a result of their leadership experience, graduates are more knowledgeable and are better equipped to make key decisions affecting their own organizations, the community and themselves. During the nine-month program, Leadership Oshkosh students serve on a local board of directors to gain insight and understanding into the world of nonprofit organizations.  The program has included a non-profit fundraiser component has raised over $64,000 in the last five years to support community causes.

THIS IS OSHKOSH

This is Oshkosh Cover.jpg

The Oshkosh Chamber is excited to announce the coming of the 2022 community profile publication – THIS IS OSHKOSH. This year’s publication will be produced in partnership with the Fox Cities Magazine. THIS IS OSHKOSH will be a premier resource for not only newcomers, residents and visitors, but will be single source publication for companies, as they recruit talent to the Oshkosh area.

THIS IS OSHKOSH shines a spotlight on the community, the Chamber and the businesses that make this a great place to live, work and play. The high quality of life that is Oshkosh is presented through introductions to arts and culture, education, healthcare and, not least of all, its spectacular water front.

THIS IS OSHKOSH will be presented in print version and distributed by the Chamber throughout the community. A digital version will be available on the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce website as well.

Because of your investment in the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, we wanted to make sure you know about our plans to market the Oshkosh area to a national audience. As a member of the Oshkosh Chamber, we encourage you to look at this publication as a means to promote your business to a targeted audience. Account representatives from the Fox Cities Magazine will very soon begin to reach out to you to show you how your business can best take advantage of advertising opportunities in this new publication. In the meantime, should you want to learn more about this opportunity, please contact:
