Dementia Capable Training (presented by Fox Valley Memory Project)
This Program trains staff on how to recognize customers/clients with memory loss, cognitive decline, or other symptoms associated with dementia, and more importantly how to best offer hospitality and support to them and their caregivers. We also provide information on community support resources available to people with dementia and their caregivers. Organizations completing this training are identified by a Purple Angel decal displayed in their window signifying their dementia friendliness.
