The Business/Education program of the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to establishing, coordinating, promoting and supporting ongoing and potential business/education collaborations and projects in the Oshkosh area.

The Oshkosh Chamber encourages business and education collaboration to provide meaningful career education and real-world preparation to students in the Oshkosh community.

Business awarness and participation is encouraged in the following program areas:

Partners in Education Council (PIE): The PIE Council is the primary Oshkosh forum where K-12 through post-secondary education representatives engage in meaningful dialogue with business, industry and community leaders.

Partners at Learning (PALs): PALs is designed to connect the needs of individual schools with the resources and talents of businesses and community organizations.

Career and Life Path Day (CLPD): CLPD is a community-wide event held every spring that gives nearly 800 Oshkosh area students the opportunity to spend valuable time in an Oshkosh business or organization.

The Oshkosh Chamber also supports Youth Apprenticeship (YA): YA is a State of Wisconsin certificate program that connects individual high school students to real world experience in a career interest area.  For information about YA programs in the Oshkosh Area School District, contact Nicole Peterson at nicole.peterson@oshkosh.k12.wi.us.
