The Health Careers Summer Camp is a 5 day program that provides an opportunity for high school students to experience first hand the challenges, opportunities and rewards of health professions. The hands-on activities are facilitated by instructors and health care professionals.

Camp Badger

July 13–19, 2014 at UW Oshkosh

Come to UW Oshkosh for a one-week experiential learning camp for future engineers! Participants will learn through a combination of field trips, job site visits, hands-on activities, and small group discussions. This program is for students who will be entering eighth grade in fall 2014.

Electric Guitar Building

Learn about design and manufacturing principles and techniques through the process of designing and building an electric guitar. Topics include: body and headstock design, basic woodworking, finishing, fretting, electronics assembly, hardware assembly and guitar setup. Discover the processes that go into creating a consumer product and walk away from the class with a beautiful solid body electric guitar that you designed and built yourself.
